I was upgrade to version 1.85 and after sync,my 26 million coin is gone

I was upgrade to version 1.85 and after sync,my 26 million coin is gone,my old version is 1.8
what happen?please help!

I followed this steps.

1-download this :https://mega.co.nz/#!wERQESKT!VjDLhD51Tscp0YGUuLLGHXCu29dtxDuaabk0F7csQgI

2-go to c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin

3-copy wallet.dat in a safe folder (make one or two copy it's your backup be sure to make this or you loose all your coins)

4-remove all file in c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin

5-unzip the downloaded file , and copy all file from the unziped folder to c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin

6-copy your wallet.dat to c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin

7-you can start the QT now it will take some minute to get the lastest block and you will be sync

8.the balance shows 0.

I don't think you should have done #5.

I didn't and when i copied my wallet.dat elsewhere and deleted the rest of the files.

When I click the ifc.qt it recreates all the files in the c:\user\yourname\appdata\Roaming\infinitecoin
folder.

then i close the .qt and copy the wallet.dat and restart the .qt and wait for the sync

my coins are there

Is it really necessary to upgrade? My 1.8 version working fine.

you never relly got this 26 million i lost too 120 million and that's normal your 26 million are mined from a bad blockchain in the very low difficulty ( you mined in the past )
your rewar by block in the bad blockchain is like 63.454

but in the real blockchain 16.xxx

than you will never get them again only if you( save your wallet.dat) and than remove all file from the (c:\user\yourname\appdata\roaming\infinitecoin) folder and reuse the 1.8 for sync again with the bad blockchain you wil get again your 26 million that you can use only between corrupted wallet using the bad blockchain
you can't exchange them or use it anywere

yeah you mined corrupted chain. So basically  you got millions of easy ifc at very low diff  - but they are not legal. Its like someone printing money at home on a laser printer.

all i can say it's not easy to mined 26 million if you in a real blockchain. make sure your block is in 450000 ranges.

at current difficulty - if you mine at 1mhs solo - you can expect ~90 days for 25million ifc.

thanks,I am very new in mining coin,I think the same situation like me still lots of people,so Please
have upgrade or let people know before they find out,so the don't have to worst time and power.

I was sad the coins gone.
is other coin mining have same problem?

sometimes. If the chain  gets "forked" and corrupts - and some peers have corrupted one.. it can screw up. Its best to compare block count with block explorer to make sure you have the right  one.

the 185 fixes that - it should sync just fine.
